"THE FULLNESS OF THE FATHER"

Chapter XIV

As the Christ door is opened one becomes filled with Light, and comprehends all things.

"And, if your eye be single to my glory, your whole body shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things.

"Therefore, sanctify yourselves, that your minds become single to God, and the days will come that you shall see him; for he will unveil his face unto you, and it shall be in his own time, and in his own way, and according to his own will.

"Remember the great and last promise I have made unto you; cast away your idle thoughts and your excess of laughter far from you."

Some have failed utterly to see the glory contained in this scripture and have interpreted it to mean that they were to go with long, sanctimonious faces and unloving, self-righteousness. It does not say not to laugh. It warns, instead, against an excess of laughter and all light-mindedness. It does not say that one is never to rejoice for to do so would deny the promise that those who fulfill the higher laws will receive "A FULLNESS OF JOY". And it is true that "The nearer a man approaches perfection the clearer are his views and the greater are his enjoyments."

"To cast away one's idle thoughts," but prepares one to begin to think with power. It is the process by which the creative forces of the mind are brought into action. It is the process by which one's eye can truly become single to God -- and when that is accomplished one will begin to comprehend His glory, which is the greatest experience of joy possible to receive.

John 6:33: "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day (of his testing). It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh to me."

When the Samaritan woman questioned Christ about the proper place to worship, whether it was in Jerusalem or upon the mountains of her own country, He answered: "The hour cometh and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him."

The only possible way to really worship God is in one's own Spirit, or temple. Adoration to God is always something that must be offered from one's own heart and with his soul and mind sending it out. It is not necessary that it be through some church that this offering of highest devotion is given. If one is inclined to worship through some church let him do so. But this is not the highest form of worship. The only true form of worship is through a man's own heart. True devotion must flow out of the fulness of one's being, whenever and wherever he turns his mind to God. Because so very few ever turn their minds to God, except on the rare occasions when they attend some church, has been the reason for so much darkness upon the earth. To really worship God requires a consecration of one's mind and heart and soul. As one turns to God, with the full devotion of his entire being, the Father will lead him to the Light of Christ within. And then can Christ reveal the Father.

John 6:37: "And all that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."

Luke 10:21-22: "In that hour Jesus rejoiced in Spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and the prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemeth good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father; and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him."

It is the Christ who must reveal the father. No one can know the Father except the Son reveal Him. And the Son cannot reveal Him except the individual learns to follow that Christ Light that is given to abide in him.

There is the eternal promise that those who purify themselves shall behold the face of God and receive of His Fulness. This divine purification can only be accomplished by following in the Way Christ indicated. One has to accept "The Light of Christ, which is given to abide in every man who cometh into the world, for those who reject this Light are under condemnation." No one who is still under condemnation could possibly be permitted to behold the face of God. The very acceptance of the Light of Christ is the entrance into the Way of purification. Within this Way is held the powers of each man's redemption and his complete purification.

And it is through that "Christ door", that one beholds the face of God.

"Blessed is he who hungers and thirsts after righteousness, for he shall be filled." He shall, if he continues to hunger and thirst, and to ask, seek and knock, be filled "WITH THE FULLNESS OF GOD."

"And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might BE FILLED WITH THE FULLNESS OF GOD." (Eph. 3:19)

This great, dynamic promise has been crying down the ages for fulfillment.

"And no man receiveth a fullness unless he keepeth his commandments. He that keepeth his commandments receiveth truth and light, until he is glorified in truth and knoweth all things."

"The earth rolls upon her wings, and the sun giveth his light by day, and the moon giveth her light by night, and the stars also give their light, as they roll upon their wings in their glory, in the midst of the power of God.

"Unto what shall I liken these kingdoms, that ye may understand?

"Behold, all these are kingdoms, and any man who hath seen any of the least of these hath seen God moving in his majesty and power.

"I say unto you, he hath seen him; nevertheless, he (Christ) who came unto his own was not comprehended.

"The Light shineth in darkness (man), and the darkness comprehendeth it not; Nevertheless the day shall come when you shall comprehend even God, being quickened in Him and by Him.

"Then shall you know that ye have seen me, that I Am, and that I AM THE TRUE LIGHT THAT IS IN YOU, and that you are in me, otherwise ye could not abound."

This FULLNESS OF THE FATHER is the promise given to every man who continues to hunger and thirst after righteousness, and who will accept and follow the Light of Christ, which is given to abide in him, to its complete revelation. This is the revelation of God, the Father, whom only Christ can reveal, or that divine Christ Light make known.

"Verily, thus saith the Lord; It shall come to pass that every soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh to me, and calleth on my Name and obeyeth my voice, and keepeth my commandments, shall see my face and know that I am; and that I am the true Light that Lighteth every man who cometh into the world: and that I am in the Father, and the Father in me, and the Father and I are one -- the Father because he gave me of his fullness, and the Son because I made flesh my tabernacle."

"--And I, John, bear record that I beheld his glory, as the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth, even the Spirit of Truth, which came and dwelt in the flesh and dwelt among us. And I, John, saw that he received not the fullness at first, but received grace for grace. And he received not the fullness at first, but continued from grace to grace until he received a fullness. And thus he was called the Son of God, because he received not the fullness at the first. And I, John, bear record that he received a fullness of the glory of the Father. And he received all power, both in heaven and on earth, and the glory of the Father was with Him, for he dwelt in him."

"I give unto you these sayings that you may understand and know how to worship, and know what ye worship; that ye may come unto the Father in my Name, and in due time receive of His fullness. For if ye keep my commandments ye shall receive of his fullness, and be glorified in me as I am in the Father. And now, verily I say unto you, I was in the beginning with the Father, and am the Firstborn. Ye were also in the beginning with the Father: that which is Spirit, even the Spirit of Truth."

"And the Spirit giveth light to every man that cometh into the world; and the Spirit enlighteneth every man through the world, who harkeneth to the voice of the Spirit. And everyone that harkeneth to the voice of the Spirit cometh unto God, even the Father."

The purpose of man's existence is that he might attain unto the "FULLNESS OF THE FATHER." Yea, that he "Might be perfect, even as the Father in heaven is perfect."

"The glory of God is the begettal of Eloheim." "Eloheim", in the ancient Hebrew, is a masculine plural of a feminine noun, meaning either men, or women, or man and his mate. This is the work and the glory of the Father, "To bring to pass the immortality and the eternal life of man."

And "This is life eternal, that ye might know God, the Father, and Jesus Christ Whom He hath sent."

Beyond that "Christ door" is a light and a glory impossible to imagine until one enters into it.

After one has adjusted himself to contain that Light of Christ in its fulness he will then be prepared to go on and behold the face of God, for It will be unveiled unto him. "It will be in the Father's own time, and in His own way and according to His own will." And this is also as the individual desires it for he has reached the point of high attainment that has overcome impatience. He is no longer seething in restless impatience, nor straining to do everything "right now", nor acting according to his own weaknesses and erring judgment and mortal haste. He has learned to "be still", and let God work things out in His own way.

When one has reached this high point, he will abide in the pure love of Christ's Light and will await his own completion according to the Will and for the glory of the Father. He will take the vessel of himself and, holding it open to the great Light, await the completion of himself as his own divine pattern is filled full. Thus the seed of himself will be perfected in its full maturity, as he receives "THE FULLNESS OF THE FATHER." This FULLNESS is also the "FULLNESS OF JOY" as all things are overcome -- even death. Then one will know God and Jesus Christ. He will not just know about Them. And "This is Life Eternal to know Thee, the only True and Living God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent." One, having thus fulfilled all things, will be filled full --WITH THE FULLNESS OF GOD.

This greatest of all blessings is possible only after one has learned the kind of obedience which demands one LIVE the laws. Every law is a stepping stone toward this point of attainment. And when one receives the "FULLNESS OF THE FATHER" you may be sure he has purified himself, even as Christ is pure, for this is the law.

It is only when one has offered up his broken heart and developed a contriteness of Spirit that it is possible to receive "A FULLNESS OF THE FATHER". The broken heart is the heart that has been so softened with love and praise and devotion the very seals have been removed. As the seals have been melted and removed, through the divine love required, it is opened wide to the great inflowing powers of the Almighty, and to the Light of Christ, in their complete fullness. This great offering, or opening of the heart, can only be fully accomplished through the great love that makes it possible for one to BELIEVE. It is necessary that one believe in God and in His promises and in His powers of fulfilling.

Only the open, or broken heart, the one that has had all the seals removed, can make it possible for one's soul to be opened wide to receive the great fulfillment of all things. Hence the offering, or sacrifice required -- the only acceptable sacrifice from the days of Christ's ministry until the present day has been, "The sacrifice of a broken heart and a contrite Spirit."

Only those who are willing to take hold of His every WORD and make them a part of his own being, by actually LIVING them, can possibly know of their truth -- and their power. Thus the WORD becomes flesh. LIVE the laws and you will KNOW whether they be of God, or whether they be of man.

Let the hardness of your heart be melted with love that your whole being might be opened wide to His Light and to His Holy Spirit, that you might be prepared to receive of His FULLNESS. It is only through an open, believing heart that this is made possible. As one opens his heart and soul wide he becomes the perfected mold into which the FULLNESS OF THE FATHER and His power and Spirit can flow, or fill full. It is when man prepares himself to receive of HIS FULLNESS that he is filled with His glory. And it is then man becomes glorious!

Man alone can make this divine experience possible for it will be when man himself permits it. When the individual turns inward to contact that divine gift of peace, which God gave to the world with the birth of His Son, and which can be received only through the contact with the Light of Christ within, then only can one know. It is that inner stillness that he knows that God is God. And it is there that he actually learns to know God. As man experiences that inner stillness, which is the peace beyond thought, he himself becomes quiet and takes on the properties of that peace. As man himself becomes thus stilled, that sea of Spirit takes on that same stillness and becomes purified. In that divine stillness the turbulence is overcome and it reflects as a mirror. As man's heart is thus opened, or the seals broken, his spirit becomes teachable in an adoring contriteness. It is then that man becomes the sacred chalice, the holy grail, or open vessel and can become filled with the purified gold of the Spirit. And in that purified soul of himself the face of Christ will be reflected and he "will take on that same image and become like Him" for "he will be purified, even as He is pure."

This is the Way Christ came to reveal. These are the truths He gave His life for. These are the principles of inner purification that alone can fulfill His laws -- that are not of this outside world but of that kingdom of heaven within. These truths alone can cleanse the inside of the cup, or chalice that it might be filled with the FULLNESS OF GOD.
