This site is not promoted by an organized religion. Make no mistake, however, this site is testifying that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. It is a Christian site that accepts the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Plates of Mormon contain the fullness of the gospel in these latter days (Yes, the entire Plates of Mormon ARE "The Book of Mormon" which Mormon compiled along with his son, Moroni - so there is still more of the fullness of the Gospel to come) - and the Book of Mormon confirms that the Bible is true. Both books are scripture. Also, remember the body of Christ is comprised of many different members: head, hands, feet, etc. The body of Christ is not one isolated person. Ask, seek and knock as to how you can be a part of Christ's body while continuing to read Annalee Skarin's books. Approach all these things in prayer, in the name of Jesus Christ, and He will reveal the truth to you.

Introduction to A RIVER GREAT AND BROAD: The Complete Works of Annalee Skarin and Commentary to YE ARE GODS by Reborn R. S. Whitefield.
A RIVER GREAT AND BROAD, The Complete Works of Annalee Skarin and Commentary of “Ye Are Gods” was brought to pass by the grace of God and the discovery that all of Annalee’s published books with the exception of “Ye Are Gods” are now under public domain. I have read Annalee’s books numerous times, and had to re-purchase them after losing them during a move. To my astonishment and disappointment people were charging extraordinary fees for the books that Annalee, herself, never accrued any royalties for. Aghast at this injustice to those who desire to read her books but could not afford them, I set off on a journey of typing and editing these beloved books in order to make them available to all.
The title to this compilation of Annalee Skarin’s published writings comes from Ode 6 of the Odes of Solomon 7- 17, which Annalee said referred to her books: “For there went forth a stream and became a river great and broad; For it flooded and broke up everything and it brought (water) to the Temple; And the restrainers of the children of men were not able to restrain it, nor the arts of those whose business it is to restrain waters; For it spread over the face of the whole earth, and filled everything: and all the thirsty upon earth were given to drink of it; And thirst was relieved and quenched: for from the Most High the draught was given. Blessed then are the ministers of that draught who are entrusted with that water. They have assuaged the dry lips, and the will that had fainted they have raised up; And souls that were near departing they have caught back from death: And limbs that had fallen they straightened and set up: They gave strength for their feebleness and light to their eyes: For everyone knew them in the Lord, and they lived by the water of life forever. Hallelujah.”
I had no desire to add my own comments to Annalee’s works, but it was necessary in order to publish the collection together. I decided that the footnotes would mostly be dedicated to RLDS scripture because Annalee quoted from LDS scripture and the King James Version of the Bible and my intent has always been to convince others of the RLDS fraction of the original restored church, (and now all of the fractions), regarding the Truth of these things. The footnotes in this collection are mainly from the Inspired Version of the Bible, the 1908 RLDS Book of Mormon and the RLDS Doctrine and Covenants I use which reads up to the revelations of Joseph Smith III, in order to cross-reference the LDS scriptures Annalee quoted with the RLDS scriptures I have been familiar with my entire life.
Many times, Annalee paraphrased scripture and simply put them in quotes but did not include a reference. And so I also included footnotes for those scriptures as often as possible.
Before the first chapter in her book, "Ye Are Gods", there is an Editor's Note which states:
Soon after publishing the first edition of this remarkable book the author, Annalee Skarin, according to Affidavits in our files, underwent a physical change known as "translation," such as did Enoch of Biblical days.
Her book proclaims that Annalee is a translated being, while the Internet proclaims that she is dead and buried. What should one believe?
At the end of her Book, "To God the Glory", are given three tests in which one can know whether the things she writes of are true or not. First: PRAY and ask the Heavenly Father to reveal the truth by the power of the Holy Ghost! Second: Live the teachings of Christ, and you will KNOW! Third: "Anything that enticeth a man to serve and love God, and to pray, IS OF GOD!"
I confirm that Annalee Skarin's writings do entice one to pray, to serve God and to love God - throughout - over and over again! Annalee invites YOU to LIVE Christ's teachings and no longer doubt what our Savior came to teach. His teachings are beautiful! And it was Jesus Christ who commanded us to BE PERFECT EVEN AS OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN IS PERFECT.
I will end the introduction to “A River Great And Broad” with a poem regarding the Brother of Jared (an ancient prophet in the book of Ether from the Book of Mormon). The brother of Jared had great and mighty faith. His faith was so great that he conversed with Jesus Christ face to face, at which time he was shown all things thousands of years before Jesus came to earth as the sacrificial lamb. If we have faith like unto the brother of Jared the Lord will show us the same mysteries that were revealed to him. I believe that part of the faith that the brother of Jared abided by was the pure belief that God cannot lie. That meant he did not doubt the Lord’s Word, Commandments and Promises and he obeyed the Christ Light – or still small voice of God within himself until he could no longer be kept from within the veil. That still small voice is like the voice of one crying in the wilderness; in the wilderness because you cannot see who is speaking to you; it is Christ’s voice because it is the voice of the spirit of Truth. That still small voice is preparing the way in your own heart that will lead you to all Truth where the veil will be rent and Jesus Christ will reveal himself to you even as he revealed himself to the brother of Jared. So you see, each and every person with a conscience, or the Light of Christ, has a forerunner or precursor (a voice of one crying in the wilderness) to Jesus Christ himself. While reading the following poem, remember the words of Jesus from John 10:34-38. "Ye are gods".
God Can not Lie!
The Brother of Jared’s faith included this:
“Lord, I know that thou speakest the truth,
For thou art a God of truth, and canst not lie.”
But we say, “That is something we already knew.
There must be so much more we can do
To exercise faith in Christ.”
Of course there is more, there is so much more,
And soon we will all understand
That all these years we've declared faith with our lips
While doubting in God’s commands.
Jesus commanded us to be perfect
Even as our Father in heaven.
But “no one is perfect” we say,
And when we say that, we're doubting our Lord;
We don't match the Brother of Jared’s faith.
There are many commandments we try to ignore,
And words of Christ we don’t understand.
“And the Scripture cannot be broken;” Christ said.
We should pray - ask Christ what He meant.
For He is a God of Truth and He cannot lie!
He's waiting for us to believe Him.
He wants to touch our hearts of stone.
He wants all of us to see Him.
But we have to believe and do such things
As love our enemy,
And not judge others wrongfully.
We justify anger, as if He lied;
We accuse our brothers;
We don’t even try
To live the teachings of Christ.
His teachings don't need to be listed here–
We have the books, especially the Bible.
It is time to read them again
And open our minds, our hearts and souls
To the Truths which are within.
For God is a God of Truth
AND HE CAN NOT LIE.
He does not exaggerate.
He will never fib.
Let us believe God, with mighty Faith
Just as the Brother of Jared did.
