THE MASTER

Chapter VI

As the soul is taken into partnership the ills and evils of life are left behind. This is the "overcoming" spoken of in the seven verses of flame scattered about in the first few chapters of Revelations. This is the point where the request held forth in the Lord's Prayer; "deliver us from evil" is fulfilled. This is the point where one becomes the master of his own being instead of the weak, miserable, driven slave. This is when one begins to live according to the divine, true pattern of himself and henceforth he walks with God.

Command your soul to "Stand Forth" in the full measure of its EXISTENCE to rule and be obeyed. You will then have the mastery over your actions and your reactions. You will "speak no word except God commands it" or speaks through you. You will do no work without His sustaining, revealing power to ensure its success. Your words will be powerful and your actions will be majestic and unwasted and uninjurious either to yourself or to others.

In this divine condition even the mistakes and messes of the past will be righted and eliminated. Then it is that the perfection of the present is fully established.

The whole horrifying condition of this earth, "its wars and rumors of wars," its famines and pestilences and diseases and its staggering number of ever increasing mental cases and all its uncontrolled, rampant evils are but the results of man's own selfish, lustful greeds and hates which have expressed in completion the physical, mortal side of his nature.

But man is also a spiritual being. And within the soul of every man the seed of God is held embryoed, waiting to come forth that man might be divine.

Cherubim was placed at the gate of Paradise with a flaming sword to guard the way to the Tree of Life, lest man put forth his hand and partake of the fruit of that precious tree and live forever in his sins, or live without overcoming them.

That flaming sword that flashes every-which-way is but the uncontrolled, disquieted thoughts of man as they swing out hither and yon to hold one's mind so occupied with mortal problems and conditions there is no time nor power to attend to the spiritual longings buried in the soul. And all powerful thoughts release more powerful vibrations that flash forth like two-edged swords to rend and cut down.

How can man possibly return to Paradise as long as his thoughts are uncontrolled and his vibrations are permitted to swing out in such detrimental release to block his own way back into the realm of his own perfection?

"To him who overcometh I will cause to eat of the fruit of the tree of life which is in the midst of the Paradise of God." (Rev. 2:7). And may I repeat: "The kingdom of heaven is within you."

Let the soul "STAND FORTH" in full command and all things will become subjected unto you, "The life and the light, the spirit and the power, sent forth by the will of the Father, through Jesus Christ, His Son."

As the mind is brought to obey, the body will be lifted into the light and one again has access into the Paradise of God, to take up his progressive journey to the stars.

With the selection and control of thoughts comes the control of vibrations. And vibrations are the expression of existence. Spirit is the pulsating, vibrating life force that fills the immensity of space. Light is released in its glorious vibrations of everlasting life to reveal itself to the eyes and understandings of man.

He who learns to control his thoughts through a gracious, noble mastery, as his soul STANDS guard, becomes also master of the vibrations that enter his being from the outside. He can hold the guard of love and light so firmly around himself that no destructive, harmful vibrations can possibly enter the citadel of himself from without. No other's hates can upset or disturb him. Nor can another's actions effect him in any way. With this calm self-mastery one will also have the power to protect his loved ones. By this method of love he can begin to reach out to enfold his neighbors, his associates and the world.

Such a one will have the power to control every vibration released within himself so that no angry, impatient, disturbed, evil vibrations can go forth from him to wreak their destructiveness upon the world, thus adding to the accumulated darkness already enfolding the earth.

With his thoughts thus held in control one can so enfold himself, his loved ones, if they will but permit, and the world, in the essence of his living, healing love.

Such a one can build an armor of light so powerful around himself that no evil or destroying force in existence can possibly disturb him.

In this way one gains control of the vibrations of existence and they become subjected unto him, "even the life and the light and the spirit and the power." These almost unimaginable promises, given by God to His children, hold the very forces of life within them. These are the dynamic works which Christ did -- and the promises he left for us to fulfill also.

These are the works which man must begin to do that His words may not return unto Him void. Man must do all the works which Christ did and then go on to the greater works. Blasphemy you say? Not so. They are the eternal, living promises of God our Almighty Father of Love expressed through the glory and the words of His Beloved Son. They are the promises given unto us.

All commands and all promises are yours to fulfill. "And God gives no command save he opens the way for its fulfilment." And no promise was ever given that did not contain the seed of its own completion.

As a man becomes the master of his thoughts, through his soul taking command, he reaches the point where power is established. Then it is that he can step forth into his own divinity.

The promises Christ gave has remained unfulfilled because man has been satisfied to live in the darkness of his own disbeliefs or his own orthodoxed way of thinking. The promises are irrevocably established. Even God Himself cannot revoke them else He would cease to be God. And He has given His holy word, proclaiming, "When ye do as I say, then am I bound!" Could anything be more powerfully stated? God has pledged Himself to the fulfilling of His promises and they cannot fail. Neither can His word return unto Him void.

"Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." (James 1:22)

Man has truly deceived himself, failed himself and most assuredly failed his Creator. He is near to destroying the world and all that it contains by his own blind deception. He has nurtured his unbelief, his hates, his sorrows and his lusts. He has increased his greeds and his jealousies and his fears as he has kept them alive on the very substance of his own being for they have been fed and feasted on the fibres of his own mind as well as the very life essence of his soul. And man has then released these vile, overindulged, repulsive, monstrous vibrations of darkness upon the world in the turbulent dis-quietude of his own seething resentments and unholy actions.

A man can be an animal of the flesh -- or even less. Or he can be a man. But it is also possible that he can become divine according to the thoughts he harbors as he be-lives and so fulfills his beliefs.

Man is a Creator! And all that the Father has is his -- to use for glory or for destruction -- the sorrowful destruction of himself as he betrays his own soul, rejecting the divine, eternal gift of life and light God so graciously gave to every man who ever came into the world.

As long as a man remains subjected to the flesh and to the random or evil thoughts of his lowest, animal nature he is a slave. Only as he stands forth in the superb command of his soul does he become the master. Then he has the power to step forth into the presence of God, his divine Sire, a son of light.

The great ignorance that has held man enslaved in darkness, not daring to lift his head above the dull, mortal heritage of grubby, earthly thinking must now end. From henceforth the time is established when all men will be left without excuse.

The great New Age of Light is yours to advance into and become one with, dynamic, glorified and in full mastery of your every faculty and power.

Come, beloved! Come into the realm where the most noble aspirations of your own soul become the reality and are fulfilled beyond your present power to even imagine.

Come! The way is yours! It is the sacred Way of Truth, the inner way of Light! This is the Straight and Narrow Way Christ IS!
