Chapter XXIII

“All That the Father Has Is Yours”

"ALL THAT THE FATHER HAS IS YOURS!"

"That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter until the perfect day.

"And again, verily I say unto you, and I say it that you may chase darkness from among you:

"He that is ordained of God and sent forth the same is appointed to be the greatest, notwithstanding he is the least and the servant of all.

"Wherefore, he is possessor of all things; for all things are subject unto him, both in heaven and on earth, the life and the light, the spirit and the power, sent forth by the will of the Father through Jesus Christ, His Son.

"BUT NO MAN IS POSSESSOR OF ALL THINGS EXCEPT HE BE PURIFIED AND CLEANSED FROM ALL SIN.

"AND IF YOU ARE PURIFIED AND CLEANSED FROM ALL SIN, YE SHALL ASK WHATSOEVER YOU WILL IN THE NAME OF JESUS AND IT SHALL BE DONE!" (Doc. & Cov. 50:24-29 or as it is given on page 328 of "Ye Are Gods.")

The foregoing scripture has been mentioned before in this work. But now its very fulness must be completely unveiled. It must be held in mind always that that which is of God is Light! It is always light and there is no darkness in it. Not ever! And as one holds to the light he will continue to receive more and more light, which is joy and confidence and understanding until "there is no darkness in him." Such is promised that his light will increase until the PERFECT DAY. This perfect day is when the individual himself has OVERCOME the darkness, the negation, the doubting and fears within himself by learning to turn on that magic switch as his mind shuts out the darkness and turns on the light. And this LIGHT is intelligence. And it is perfected in the individual who learns to hold his mind single to the glory of God, or who mentally thinks only the most beautiful things possible. Such will become glorified in light and "Will comprehend all things!" Then it will be that he will be ordained of God and sent forth to become the servant of all, in the glory of the "greater works" as he is "BORN OF THE SPIRIT!" This is the ordination of God. And this is the PROMISE and the COVENANT OF ALMIGHTY GOD. This is the ordination and the fulfilling that no man can bestow upon another. Only God can bestow it when man has fulfilled his part of the Covenant.

And he who thus OVERCOMES the darkness is "possessor of all things; for all things will become subject unto him; both in heaven and on earth, the life and the light, the spirit and the POWER --" As ALL THINGS become subject unto one, both in HEAVEN and ON EARTH he has gained full access into the realms of divine wonder where the understanding and the power to take hold of that holy, spiritual substance, the primal matter, is henceforth his own to use as he brings into earthly form the full accomplishment of fulfillment of his yearning HOPES and desires.

The very purification mentioned, "the cleansing from all sin" is but the OVERCOMING of one's own doubts and fears and negations. These are "the evils of one's life." And the OVERCOMING is achieved by the using of that switch as the individual becomes the master of his thoughts instead of being mastered and enslaved by them.

Thus as one masters these realms of darkness by learning to use that divine switch to turn on the LIGHT he becomes filled with Light. "He becomes glorious," according to the PROMISE, or COVENANT. And the very realms of heaven become his to explore and to use, as all things in heaven, the elements the glory and the power become subject to him. This subjection is but the ability to take hold of the elements of Light and the Primal substance or divine material and mold it into form, useable and dynamic in its power of fulfilling. These are the things of heaven that become subject unto one as he begins to make use of them -- "WHEN THE DARKNESS IS CAST OUT!"

"The things of earth" that become subject unto one are the material things which he has developed the power to bring forth and to fashion from that primal element. Thus they take on earthly form. These gifts belong also to the one who "overcomes the evils of his life," as he brings forth the desires of his own envisioning holding steadfastly to his Hope until it materializes and takes tangible form. This is the law and the PROMISE.

Thus all things do become subject unto him, both in heaven and on earth as he uses that divine gift of creating to bring forth onto the earth plane the fashioning of his own righteous desires. The Primal matter becomes his to manipulate and to create with. This is the matured reality of which a child's molding clay is but the toy. "And all things are possible to him who believes!"

The command of God to man is: "to ask, to seek and to knock." And the assured PROMISE or COVENANT OF GOD is eternal, unfailing and everlasting. The fulfilling of this divine invitation to search is sealed with the divine Covenant of God upon it. And God is literally bound to fulfill the PROMISE to all who will only accept the challenge or the invitation to "ask, to seek or to knock. For everyone who asks receives! And he who seeks finds! And unto him who knocks it shall be opened."

The very asking is the establishing of the request. It is the desire or the spiritual pattern being stamped upon that sacred element "waiting to become!" The desire must be fulfilled if one does not "WAVER" or DOUBT and who refuses to cease to ask before his request is fully established. This is the law of fulfilling. It cannot fail! Man can fail and has failed down the centuries because he ceases to ask before his desire is completely established on that Primal, Spiritual element of Creation, the substance of "things HOPED for."

That divine substance, that holy, spiritual element is waiting for man himself to take hold of it MENTALLY as he fashions it into the pattern of his HOPE. And this procedure is FAITH in action and man was ordained to use this breathtaking element of creation and glory and power.

In this way the very things of heaven and of earth do become subject unto the individual who will cast out the darkness of doubting and unbelief, which is the impurity of sin that must be OVERCOME. And only by the intelligent use of that divine switch, as one lights up the realms of his own thinking, can this be accomplished.

Yes, "All that the Father has is yours!" To use! To glorify and to be glorified by!

Next, the privilege to prove one's FAITH or ability to use this primal substance of creation comes in the suggestion of praise as one gives thanks continually for his own hope or desire. This thanksgiving releases the power to believe within the heart of man. And this brings forth his request more speedily and more perfectly than any other method in existence. This very attitude of praising and the vibrations of gratitude opens up those higher realms of light, and thus the very Light itself becomes subject unto the individual. This light, which can become subject unto man is his forever as he learns to cast out the darkness of his own thinking and feeling habits.

The released praise and thanks for the things one desires clothes the desire in form and helps to bring forth the true spiritual essence as the request is held to 'WITHOUT WAVERING or DOUBTING." And in this manner do they take form in the tangible world.

The vibrating praise issuing out of one's own soul and the LOVE and gratitude, when sincere and constant, establishes that vibration of expectancy and assurance, and most of all that exuberant, inner enthusiasm which is the sacred, divine attitude carrying its own laws of accomplishment. It is this singing vibration of glory that carries the power to fully and completely "cast out the darkness" and conquer it forever.

Thus the Light does become subject unto one. He can use it at all times, clothe himself in it and "Cast the darkness out of his life!" The Light is also the intelligence and the understanding that is promised in which an individual will be given the power to "COMPREHEND ALL THINGS."

The "Life also will become subject unto him," for he will “BE BORN OF THE SPIRIT" and after that "no one will be able to take his life from him," except he permits it.

"The Spirit becomes subject unto him," when he has learned the dynamic, majestic control as he holds his being in a hallowed majesty of divine awareness. In this control only can one possibly take hold of that glorious spiritual element of primal matter and mold it into form and bring it forth as tangible substance.

"The Power becomes also subject unto him," when he has learned to cast out the darkness, so that the fulness of the gift of creation will be subject unto him as he uses it for the fulfillment of his needs and to glorify and benefit a world. These are the PROMISES! And God has sealed them upon man by the most sacred divine COVENANT possible to give.

"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to His will (or His law) He heareth us;

"And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him." (I. John 5:14-15).

This information is indeed perfect. And we ask according to the will of God always when we ask without doubting. When we ask Him in confidence we are asking according to His Will and as we ask in this manner we can absolutely KNOW that our request has been heard for our desire is established upon that divine, spiritualized element of primal matter. This is how our asking becomes powerful, for it is established in FAITH and by FAITH. And in this manner "we KNOW that we have the petitions that we have desired of Him."

The very vibrations of assurance opens wide the door to the substance of FAITH as the HOPE is established in confidence. And the more one uses this method and this substance the more proficient he becomes and the more speedily will his requests come into materialization, until "he shall receive whatsoever he asks," or needs, or desires or HOPES for "even before he asks."

This is the power of "asking according to the will of God." One need not approach God in a begging, pleading, wailing supplicating attitude of hopelessness and despair. Remember, "despair cometh because of iniquity." This dismal attitude of groveling, cringing dismay establishes the very darkness of doubting and unbelief. And "IS NOT ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD!" And as a rule, any request released under desolating, anguished moaning IS not answered because the only pattern held forth for fulfilling is the doubting, desolation of failure and anguished self-pity. And there is no FAITH in it. Nor can it reach into the realms of FAITH and fulfilment. There is no power with which to establish the pattern or HOPE to plant or impress the desire upon that sacred element of primal matter except man's own power to accept and to BELIEVE.

When Job began to bemoan the day of his birth in a lamentation of self-pity, God spoke to him out of the whirlwind commanding: "Gird up now thy loins like a man (not a cry baby); for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me --."

"Asking according to the will of God is to ask in confidence!" Ask, without doubting as you hold forth your desire for fulfilling. And know this: You could not possibly hold a righteous desire forth in your heart unless it was from God in the beginning. Pure, holy desiring is always of God, and is God's will. There has been no command or instruction in all existence, or even a shadow of a suggestion that forbids any individual from desiring, and hoping and asking and seeking for ANYTHING he could possibly imagine or HOPE FOR. "Ask! Seek! and FIND!" These are the eternal admonitions of God. "And if you are without HOPE you will of very necessity be in despair. And despair cometh because of iniquity."

And to be "iniquitous" is laying hold upon the very depths of darkness and failure. And it is contrary to the Will of God and all the PROMISES and Covenants and instructions of God to accept such a condition.

Show me an individual who has become so lost in negation he cannot lift his mind or heart or soul to contemplate "THE BEST GIFTS" and "ASK FOR THE BEST GIFTS" and I will show you a person who is damned into the frustrated condition of everlasting failure!

As one casts out the darkness by laying hold of the creative power of Light and the substance of HOPE, or dreams and who can lift his soul to desire, the very doors of glory will open to fulfill his requests. He will truly "be thankful in all things and will become glorious!"

"For everyone who asks receives!" And "he who seeks finds and unto him who knocks" those doors to all fulfilling will be opened. "For all that the Father has is yours!"

Now, in returning to Job chapter thirty-eight, verses one to ten, we are given a very breathtaking picture of the forces of creation in action. When the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind He said, "Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? (meaning Job's three false comforters -- and the world is full of such).

"Gird up now thy loins like a man: for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.

"Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare if thou hast understanding.

"Who hath laid the measure thereof, if thou knowest? Or who hath stretched the line upon it?

"Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner stone thereof;

"When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

"Or who shut up the sea with doors when it break forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

"When I made the cloud the garment thereof; and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it.

"And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors."

Then in Job chapter forty and verse ten is given this Command: "DECK THYSELF NOW WITH MAJESTY AND EXCELLENCE: AND ARRAY THYSELF WITH GLORY AND BEAUTY!"

Yes, man is commanded to "deck himself with majesty and excellence" as he stands before God, arrayed in glory and beauty, fulfilling his own divine nature. Man was not meant to grovel or crawl or belittle himself in the death shrouds of the defilement of doubting and unbelief. And in that realm of God's "DECREED PLACE" mentioned, God fashioned the region of His own glorified substance of Primal matter, the material or element of all HOPES and desires, as yet unformed, to wait for man's own transforming.

On that GREATEST OF ALL DAYS -- the day when the "FOUNDATIONS OF THE EARTH WERE LAID," God's daughters sang together in the joy and wonder of a NEW WORLD being created for their future abode. And ALL the sons of God shouted for joy at their great anticipation of the future existence which was to be theirs.

It was to Job that God hurled out the magic mystery of the unfathomable powers of creation with the foundations of a world being laid without anything to attach those foundations to or anything to hold the great cornerstone of its tangible, earthly form. The powers of creation were used by God Himself as He brought forth from the primal substance of LIGHT the decreed designs of His own divine planning. He revealed a glimpse of the magnificent splendor of a world formed from the creative wonder of His own imagining.

It is as though God was familiar with each grain of sand and loved each one tenderly. And as though he brought forth with His own hand the fashioning of the sea and the clouds for its garments. The very dew drops seem to be held in loving tenderness in the joy of His creating. The monsters of the deep are His and of His own bringing forth. The spectacular glory of creation is for a moment revealed as the doors are opened to permit a brief, penetrating glance into the mysteries of God's great planning and the breathtaking wonder of the fulfilling as all things were formed, taking shape from the glory of His thoughts.

"And all that the Father has is yours!" All the elements and all the powers of creation are man's to use, as FAITH IS EXERCISED AND DEVELOPED AND EMPLOYED. Such is the PROMISE! And such is the COVENANT of its fulfilling.

The first inspired glimpse of an idea, the very thought of some seeming remote possibility, the material of a wish, the glorious wonder of a HOPE is fashioned from that holy element of LIGHT. The LIGHT of inspiration is the element of that primal substance taking form. It may be only a vague sketch of a blue-print, a revealing flash of that which can be. But it holds within it the Spirit of Revelation. And it is within man's power to bring it forth.
