Chapter III

Man’s Terms of Fulfillment Inadequate

I have met many who have accepted of God's Promises with all their minds while their hearts have been far from Him, except for their desire to receive the unutterable fullness of His Promised Powers.

There are those, many of them, who would have already proved and fulfilled all things had they accepted the Promises upon God's terms instead of upon their own.

"If ye do as I say, then am I bound, but if you do not as I say then you have no Promise." In other words, the Promise you demand, without fulfilling the requirements is not yours. You have no claim upon it. Unless you accept God's terms for the fulfilling you have no Promise.

The volume preceding this one, "Beyond Mortal Boundaries" contains the unfolding of the most famous and the most important parts of scripture, excepting Psalms 23 and 91. These have not been included for they need no explanation in order to be lived for they are based on fact not on PROMISE.

These books open with the Power of the PROMISES. Then the glory and power of the First and great Commandment and the wonder contained without its actual LIVING is made apparent.

Next there is the unveiling of that most famous chapter of I. Corinthians and the thirteenth chapter and the marvel of its hitherto unrealized truths.

In that divine volume, "Beyond Mortal Boundaries," is revealed the wonder of the ancient Patriarchal Order and how, in olden times, they did not live under the law, but lived by the PROMISES, according to Faith. There is a partial unveiling of their hopes and their individual Promises. And there is also recorded their failure to fulfill the fullness of the PROMISES because they placed them in the "AFAR-OFF," in the great "SOMETIME OF THE FUTURE" instead of in the NOW!

And the same is true today, everything has been placed in the days of expected glory when Christ will come and exalt everyone without them fulfilling one single observance of His divine counseling. To bring forth the wonder of His instructions the unfolding of that Sermon on the Mount is plainly given. In fact, the whole volume has been more or less a stressing and explaining of that most famous of all sermons ever given on the earth.

And in the last chapter of that Sermon on the Mount, Matthew seven, is given the record of Christ's rebuke to those who would prophesy in His Name, cast out devils in His Name and perform many miracles, to whom he declares: "Depart from me, ye that work iniquity. I know you not!" And to make this scripture perfectly clear God required that a complete explanation on demonstrating be included, "THAT ALL MEN MIGHT BE LEFT WITHOUT EXCUSE."

This was written according to God's command. And no man's opinion can change it. But there are those who still insist that only through their own personal demonstrating can the divine, dynamic Promises of God be fulfilled. And they err greatly. And worlds without end they will not be able to receive the glory of His Promises until they accept His Promises upon His Terms -- AND NOT UPON THEIR OWN.

God's Promises are not fulfilled through outward show, through the gifts or through prophesying or speaking in tongues or in outward "UNSEEMINGLY" demonstrating. They are fulfilled when one has learned to "BE STILL" and KNOWS that God is God, as they contact Him and obey His Voice and Keep His Commandments that they might be taught of Him, IN HIS WAY!

There are His definite terms upon which every PROMISE can be fulfilled. And not one of them is based on the Speaking in tongues, or in Prophesying -- or in any outward show.

"There is a law irrevocably decreed in heaven, before the foundations of the world, upon which all blessings are predicated, and if we obtain any Promise or blessing from God it is upon obedience to the laws upon which it is predicated," or promised.

"He who is thankful in all things shall be made glorious. And when one is MADE GLORIOUS he will "BE BORN OF THE SPIRIT!" This promise to be made glorious says nothing at all about speaking in tongues or prophesying or of any of the other gifts. It is based entirely upon GRATITUDE, or BEING THANKFUL!

"IF YOUR MINDS BE SINGLE TO THE GLORY OF GOD, your whole bodies shall be filled with light and there will be no darkness in you. And that person who is filled with light shall comprehend all things * * * and God will unveil his face unto him," etc. This glorious fulfilling is based on the complete LOVE of God filling the mind of man until his thoughts BECOME SINGLE TO THE GLORY OF GOD. These are God's terms and no personal beliefs are included or accepted.

Another Promise: "He who prayeth continually without ceasing shall be given to understand the mysteries of God (or as the other promise declares, shall comprehend all things) and shall reveal things which have never been revealed," etc. This praying continually, without ceasing includes the releasing, through the heart center, that New Song, that Celestial Song of Praise and Love and Gratitude in living vibrations of eternal rhythm and glory, not in shouting or through any unseemly action. True adoration is always from within, not demonstrated on the outside. "Self-righteousness" is always worn on the outside to be seen of men. "RIGHTEOUSNESS" is manifested deep within the soul of man and is part of his innermost being and cannot be put on display.

"And no man receiveth a fulness unless he keepeth His Commandments (of LOVE). He that keepeth His commandments receiveth Truth and Light until he is glorified in Truth and KNOWETH ALL THINGS!" Yes! He who fulfills that great law of LOVE shall be glorified in TRUTH and shall KNOW all things! And in KNOWING the TRUTH he shall become free. He shall be "Born of the Spirit" and be able to come and go as the wind in a service as yet unimagined.

Thus each Promise carries with it God's terms of fulfilling. They have nothing to do with man's little personal beliefs or ideas. They are without flaw and need no individual interpretation to make their meaning clear.

Yet they all lead to the PROMISE of the great, complete fulfilling as the Power of the Almighty God is vested in man and he enters into a higher phase of existence, beyond anything mortal mind has ever before envisioned.

"Cast out the darkness from among you and you will be ordained (commissioned) of God (not man) * * * and all things will become subject unto you both in heaven and on earth; the light and the life; the Spirit and the Power sent forth by the will of the Father through Jesus Christ, His Son.

Such are a portion of God's Promises which I have been commissioned to hold forth. The Promises are not mine! They are God's Promises and they are based upon His terms.

Learn to Praise and give Thanks continually and light and love will be generated out through you. And as you learn to generate light the darkness will be banished from you and you yourself will be filled with Light and comprehend all things! This is not accomplished by any outward demonstrating, but by learning "to hear the Voice of God" and in following His instructions and fulfilling His terms. Then only is it possible to actually KNOW GOD! And this is LIFE ETERNAL, TO KNOW THEE, THE ONLY TRUE AND LIVING GOD AND JESUS CHRIST WHOM THOU HAST SENT!"

And regardless of which of God's Promises one might rejoice in most, as he lays hold upon it with the intensity of his own desiring, they all lead to the same fulfilling glory.

For instance: "The nearer man approaches perfection, the clearer are his views and the greater are his enjoyments, until he overcomes the evils of his life and loses every desire for sin, and like the ancients, arrives at the point of Faith where he is wrapped in the power and glory of his Maker and is caught up to dwell with Him!"

This is the fulness of the Power and reality of TRANSLATION and the very terms of God's upon which it is predicated.

Remember: "After one has been tested and tried in all things and when the Lord has thoroughly proved him, and finds that he is determined to serve God at all HAZARDS, then he will find his calling and his election made sure. Then it will be that the Lord Himself will appear unto him," etc. (AND THIS IS LIFE ETERNAL!)

These are the Promises of Almighty God -- and each contains the exact TERMS of its fulfilling. And though they all do lead to the great dynamic fulfilling of man's own glorified OVERCOMING, nevertheless they are predicated upon certain terms. And those terms are God's terms, just as the Promises are God's Promises. They are irrevocably decreed before the foundations of the world. "And if you receive any blessing from God it is by obedience to the laws upon which it is predicated."

There are no man-made beliefs or ideas or substitutes acceptable, as man seeks to put forth his own terms. And there is no mention ever made to any outside witnessing -- but only to the inward LIVING of that which is required.

"If you do as I say, then am I bound. But if you do not as I say, (but as you say) then you have no Promise."

Such are God's terms! And only by His terms can one possibly receive the fulness of His dynamic Promises and the powers thereof.

I. John 2:3-5: "And hereby we KNOW that we Know HIM, if we keep HIS Commandments. ("And this is Life Eternal to KNOW Thee the only True and Living God and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.")

"He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

"But whoso keepeth His Word, in him verily is the Love of God perfected."
