"To look back is vicious!" To abide in the hallway of memories is dwelling ignorantly or willingly in the dark realm of mortality and accepting grubby mortality with all its ugliness, vicissitudes and its sufferings and despairs.
Every returning thought to the past, whether to individuals or happenings, is but sealing the past and mortality more firmly upon the consciousness of your subconscious mind.
Leave the past behind enfolded in your awakened love and blessings. Then release it with joy.
Take up your abode in the great, eternal NOW, which is the threshold entering into the limitless realms of the ETERNAL, the divine realm of endless POWER and everlasting beauty.
Let every thought be upon the purification of yourself as you begin to transform yourself into a regal person through praise and love and gratitude. Worship God and adore Him and give thanks in a joy of increasing happiness.
As you place God upon His throne and hold Him there in singing devotion you will find that you have only been placing a crown of glory upon your own head. You will find yourself established in His Presence -- one of His praising ones, glorified and exalted beyond dismays or sorrows or tears.
Love and praise God. This is the road of sanctification.
Let none of the dark memories of the past enter your mind without enfolding them in forgiveness and love and blessing as you perfect them in the healing Light of Christ. Thus you can glorify the past and release yourself from mortality. And you, too, will become cleansed and purified.
This information contains the holiness and the power of the complete purification of yourself, your past and of the world. It is the Celestial melody which anyone can easily master who desires to overcome mortality. All that is required is for one to open up his mind to BELIEVE and then conform his life to the living of these simple laws of glory as he develops the POWER TO PROVE EVERY WORD GOD EVER GAVE AND EVERY PROMISE HE EVER MADE.
"LIVE THESE THINGS AND YOU WILL KNOW OF THEIR TRUTH!"
Oh, the glory and the wonder of the Truths of God! And the mercy of His unfolding is as limitless as eternity and as boundless as man's capacity to test and to prove all things.
"It is given to abide in you: the record of heaven; the COMFORTER; the peaceable things of immortal glory; the truth of all things; that which QUICKENETH all things, which MAKETH ALIVE all things; that which KNOWETH all things, and hath ALL POWER".
It is definitely true that the Divine, Holy Comforter is given to abide in man, along with all the foregoing, dynamic powers of heaven. For "all that the Father has is yours."
The very abode of that Divine Comforter, or Holy Helper is in the subconscious mind where all facts and knowledge are stored.
As one purifies the abode or realm of that Powerful, Divine Assistant he cleanses his subconscious mind and renovates it. Then this Holy Helper, or Holy Ghost, as the scriptures call it, can function in Its dynamic fulness. "It will bring all things past to your remembrance." It will assist you in achieving any assignment or glorify any accomplishment. It will bring culture and refinement and perfection into your life. It is impossible for anyone to master any skill or art without the help of this Divine Helper. It alone can bring mastery or proficiency or perfection into any achievement from the playing of a musical instrument to the driving of a car or the manipulation of any piece of office equipment or the operating of any piece of machinery.
It is the Divine, Holy Helper that takes care of the inner functioning of the physical body. And when It is crowded out of Its abode by the evils of desolate, bitter memories and life's corroding stench of self-pity, dislikes, hates or bitterness the body begins to age and to sicken -- and to die. It is also within the power of this Divine, Holy Helper to QUICKEN and to renew or TO MAKE ALIVE the physical body. This Holy Spirit, this Divine Helper will lend its full cooperation, if only one is aware of Its willingness to assist and permits It to do so. This is Its purpose and the power of Its functioning. Only man must acknowledge It and accept of Its assistance. It must be consciously included in all one's undertakings and projects and even in the ordinary tasks of daily living if one's life is to go smoothly and be always under perfect control.
Call the Divine, Holy Helper by NAME. Give it a NAME, a wondrous, loving, personal Name. Speak to It as though It were your most intimate, loving associate. Then make your requests or desires known and rely upon Its help, fully and completely without doubting. And always give It thanks for the assistance rendered.
Speak to It thus as you rejoice in Its ability to hear you and Its desire to serve: "Beloved Helper, quicken and renew me in mind and body and soul. I am seeking to purify the realm in which You abide in me. As I do I ask humbly for your help. Help me to cleanse my mind of all darkness, filling it only with Love and Light and beauty and perfection and with everlasting joy!"
Speak to It often thus. And rejoice in the power of Its fulfilling accomplishments. When you are trying to recall some word or phrase or fact, ask It to assist you. And soon you will become completely aware of Its reality.
This is how the darkness can be completely overcome and be forever eliminated.
Always be firm in making your requests, not domineering, just firm and grateful and filled with praise and thanks and love. And rejoice always.
Invite the Divine, Holy Helper to be your constant companion and watch yourself grow into a new, dynamic being of glorious love and increasing abilities and stupendous achievements. Talk to this Divine, Holy Helper and take It into your confidence. And always remember to thank It for Its help. And you will soon KNOW that you walk with God for He will draw near to you as you draw near to Him through the invited companionship of His Holy Helper, which He has given to abide in you.
This inner knowledge of closeness of the Divine Helper, this Sacred Holy Ghost, is a part of the "GREAT TRUTH!" It is also the witness of Jesus Christ and will always bear witness of Him.
"KNOW THE TRUTH" -- the full Truth, "and the Truth will make you free -- and you shall be free indeed!"
And now I quote from the record of Moroni, an ancient prophet who received and fulfilled the great law of translation.
Moroni 7:13-19: "But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good continually; wherefore, everything which inviteth and enticeth to do good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God.
"Wherefore, take heed, my beloved brethren, that ye do not judge that which is evil to be of God, or that which is good and of God to be of the devil.
"For behold, my brethren, it is given unto you to judge, that ye may know good from evil; and the way to judge is as plain, that ye may know with a perfect knowledge, as the daylight is from the dark night.
"For behold, The Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for everything which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.
"But whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil, and believe not in Christ, and deny him, and serve not God, then ye may know with a perfect knowledge it is of the devil; for after this manner doth the devil work, for he persuadeth no man to do good, no, not one; neither do his angels; neither do they who subject themselves unto him.
"And now, my brethren, seeing that ye know the light by which ye may judge, which light is the light of Christ, see that ye do not judge wrongfully; for with that same judgment which ye judge ye shall also be judged.
"Wherefore, I beseech of you, brethren, that ye should search diligently in the light of Christ that ye may know good from evil; and if ye will lay hold upon every good thing, and condemn it not, ye certainly will be a child of Christ."
Also in the record of Moroni, Chapter ten and verses thirty and thirty-two and verse thirty-three is given the following: "And again I would exhort you that ye would come unto Christ, and lay hold upon EVERY GOOD GIFT!"
"Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God, ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.
"And again if ye, by the grace of God, are perfect in Christ and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot."
If you do not deny the power of God then you must BELIEVE in His power. You must believe in His power to fulfill all His PROMISES, for His words cannot return unto Him unfulfilled or void.
(Ibid. 4-5): "And when ye shall receive these things I would exhort you that ye would ask God the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the Truth of it unto you, by the POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST.
"AND BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST YE MAY KNOW THE TRUTH OF ALL THINGS!" For "The Truth of all things is given to abide in you!" As you open up your sealed minds to accept and to seek to comprehend fully the greater Truths of God you will be led into the supreme "KNOWLEDGE OF ALL TRUTH!"
So has God Commanded me to write. And His words shall stand! They cannot be broken nor can they return unto Him unfulfilled and void!
So be it! In the Name of the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Ghost -- Amen!
