Chapter II

Power Unlimited

Christ gave the glorious, beautiful PROMISE that if one lived the TWO FIRST AND GREAT COMMANDMENTS he would have fulfilled ALL THE LAWS AND KEPT ALL THE COMMANDMENTS AND WOULD NO LONGER BE UNDER THE LAW.

Again, quoting from Galatians, chapter five, verse eighteen, Paul informs us: "BUT IF YE ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT, YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW!"

In first John, chapter four and verses seven and eight, this is given: "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and EVERY ONE THAT LOVETH IS BORN OF GOD, AND KNOWETH GOD. HE that loveth not knoweth not God, for God is love!" Yes. He that loveth not knoweth not God though he be a walking concordance of every passage of scripture ever given.

Now, again I am commanded to unfold the First and Great Commandment and the fulness of its power and glory. This particular scripture has been referred to several times in these books. But never before has the complete unveiling been opened with all the breath-taking powers and blessings revealed in their fulness. It is man who benefits from fulfilling this perfect law. And it is man who is exalted and glorified by its released, almost incomprehensible, wondrous blessings. And the time IS NOW!

This First and Great Commandment does most assuredly fulfill ALL the laws as it opens wide the gates of glory. It perfects any individual who will only put it to the test and begin to live by it, instead of just quoting it, or by nodding his head in approval at the mention of it.

Within this revelation, by Jesus Christ, is contained the power of translation which is the overcoming of death. It contains the divine power of the unspeakable promise given by Christ to Nicodemus, that "Every one who is born of the Spirit can come and go as the wind (whenever there is a need or an assignment which requires it;) and no man will know from whence he came or whither he goeth."

The strangest thing is that this First Great Commandment has been with man from the beginning and has been ignored in the ages past as completely as it has been ignored in our present day. It was given eight times by Moses -- AND IGNORED. So it has remained down the centuries, an unproved, unglorified string of words, without power. (Note the following references: Lev. 19:18, 34; Deut. 6:5; 10:19; 11:1, 13, 22; 19:9; 30:6). Why have those who have continually searched the scripture never beheld these numerous references to a law or invitation so divine and so powerful!

It is by the fulfilling of this One great law or divine invitation to approach the throne of God, that ALL the laws of righteousness are fulfilled and ALL power bestowed.

This time, as it is quoted, the full power of its revealing glory will unfold to him who can take hold of THE PROMISES AND ACCEPT THEM, by FAITH.

The wonder of God's unfolding is almost unspeakable. And with deepest love I invite you to venture with me into the sacred precincts of your heart.

As one concentrates his energies on loving God with all his heart -- the great, living heart-center (not just the heart organ) he will find that holy center of peace, "The peace that passeth understanding." This is a heavenly place to enter into, even for only a few minutes, in these days of hectic, wild, anguished living.

As one enters that heart center with all the love he can possibly generate flowing out from him, he will realize it is a realm of unfolding, breathtaking power. Within this divine heart center is contained the "Holy of Holies" of his own inner soul, in which he can commune with God. This is the place of "Holy Communion!" It is "the secret place of the Most High!" Here one can close the door to the whole outside world and its conditions of strife and know that he is being bathed in a purity of Light and Love such as he has never before known. He discovers his own great center of love and thus he can open up within himself "The fountains of living Waters,” which Christ promised. They could also be designated "the fountains of eternal youth."

As one continues to enter into this sacred precinct of his own heart he will realize that as he sends out love the love of God will begin to be poured out through him. And this "love of God which is shed forth through the hearts of the children of men, is the "FRUIT OF THE TREE OF LIFE!" He will know that he can partake of that Fruit every day of his life and those divine life-forces will increase within himself. He will be able to exchange an aging, worn-out, sickly body for one vibrant and alive. And in his increasing devotion his heretofore hardened, blinded heart will melt in a love so graciously tender he will know, that in Spirit, he is kneeling at the very throne of God. And God is shedding out His love through him.

As one sends love through his heart he discovers that this love, which he releases, contains that which is required "to buy the gold tried in the fire," mentioned in Revelations 3:18.

This precious gold which man is invited to purchase can only be obtained through the released love of his own heart. This gold will make one rich indeed. This is the gold of which "Christ is the Refiner, as He sits with His fan in His hand." (Mat. 3:12 & Luke 3:17). As the Refiner occasionally leans over and fans away the vapors from that molten cauldron of ore he will be able to see his own face reflected in that precious gold when it is completely purified. Then it is that one becomes so perfected he will be able to behold the face of Christ as that veil or those vapors are cleared away.

And as the heart is fully opened and purified, through love, one is offering God the only sacrifice that would be henceforth acceptable -- the sacrifice of an open or broken heart. And only through a contrite, humble spirit can this sacrifice be offered.

This molten gold also has another purpose. This is the gold bought from God that not only makes one rich, not with physical, material riches, but with the riches of unspeakable power. This is not the riches which the rich man may boast of saying, "Behold, I am rich and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art poor and wretched and miserable and blind and naked." Behold, saith God, "I counsel thee to buy of me the gold that is tried in the fire that thou mayest be rich."

It is into this pool of liquid, molten gold that one can ray out his desires in their pure perfect patterns and they will be reflected out into the universe to bring the return of all that is desired or requested. This sacred, rayed-out pattern, held out by the mind of man, has the efficacy to gather the "substance of things hoped for" into tangible form. And thus all things will be added, as promised. Such a one will have every request and desire fulfilled. "As one seeks this sacred Kingdom within, all else will be added." This is the wealth not subject to moth or rust or thieves. This is the great power of creation that will create from "The substance of things hoped for” every desirable condition and things. And not only the physical desires and needs are provided but those divine yearnings of the soul can be fully accomplished.

Love God with ALL your heart? Yes. Try it! Love Him with ALL the strength of your heart and feel the power of that love bring its full measure of plenty and happiness and fulfillment into your life. "And he who asks anything AND DOUBTS NOT IN HIS HEART shall have whatsoever he asks." Doubting disturbs the smooth surface of that pool of gold and it becomes like "waves of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed; and let not that man think he shall receive anything of the Lord."

Few indeed have accepted the PROMISES or sought to fulfill them. And none have sought to PROVE the powers of fulfilling that first commandment which was reaffirmed by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

As one takes upon himself the responsibility of fulfilling this dynamic invitation of love, he will learn of its unspeakable power and everlasting glory. But this responsibility must be assumed by each individual as he selects to PROVE it. It is not something to be used once a week or once a month or once a year -- or once in a lifetime. This is a melody that will grow into a divine symphony of eternal power and unfolding as it is practiced constantly until it becomes a very part of one's life -- or until one becomes the love!

Glory? This is glory unspeakable in the fulness of its sublime power. "Therefore purify yourselves." Yes. Live the principles of truth -- and most important, love with every cell and fibre of your being until love is established within you to such an extent you actually become the love. "For he who would interpret the wonders of the Lord will be dissolved and will become that which he interprets." "Live these things and you will KNOW FOR YOURSELF AND YOU WILL NEED NONE TO TEACH YOU, FOR GOD HIMSELF WILL BE YOUR TEACHER."

Love with ALL your heart! Love with ALL the strength of your heart! Use your full strength to send out and perfect your own outflowing gift of love and love will flow back to you increased and multiplied and glorified.

So many reach out their empty, hungry hands clutching for any small crumb of love. These starved, unhappy ones know not the meaning of love or of the method of releasing it or of receiving it. The whole secret of receiving love is in learning to give out love. Love attracts and multiplies itself. Love draws friends and multitudes and becomes an enlarging magnet of glorious outpouring, healing perfection. It is endless, boundless and powerful in its tender release. It is the glory of God in action in the lives of men.

This great, powerful love of divine perfection is not self-love, which so many possess. Self-love is stifling and most destructive if it does not include one's neighbors and the whole world and the Creator thereof. Love must flow out in order to be increased and returned.

Love heals! Love blesses! Love restores and perfects all things! Love is as limitless as the universe as one seeks to bless others with it. Love overcomes the ugly little mortal self that is always trying to take and to receive and yet never gives. The strident little mortal self with its self-seeking and self-acclaim is dissolved before the releasing of one's own fountains of love. As one continually practices love, love unfeigned, "and prays with ALL the energy of heart to be possessed of it he will eventually be born of love -- or born of God.

This released love of the heart contains the power and the blessings for anyone who will look beyond the words into the very heart of its powers and begin to take hold of its everlasting, divine promises, through faith.

The dross in the original ore is the mortal self with its selfish vibrations of desired credits and acclaim blocking its way. It is the physical, mortal weaknesses that are cloaked in the covering of pride and hypocrisy that veil the wondrous glory of this path of fulfillment.

As one perfects love within himself the dross is burned away and "Christ, the refiner of pure gold," rejoices in the revealed vision of perfection which finally stands forth purified and prepared for use.
